Gypsy

Gypsy was a little homeless kitty who came to us from the streets of Rossville, GA.  Her sweet loving nature was obvious from the moment we picked her up into our arms.  She immediately seemed to fall in love with the sanctuary and claimed the barn and the porches as her favorite places.  She loves to stretch herself in sunbeams near the back door, and we noticed shortly after that she was growing larger and larger.  Surprise!  Apparently, she was near the end of a pregnancy.  On one of the recent colder nights, she left her warm bed on the porch and came to the door to call us.  At 2 in the morning, we checked on her and there she was, in the process of birth.  We scooped her up gently and brought her into the warmth of one of our bathrooms and spent the next couple hours watching and soothing her as she brought three little orange tabbies and one little tortie kitten into the world.  3 boys and a girl.  She's a wonderful mom! And as soon as she is ready, we will have her spayed.  Along with her spay, she will need all her vaccines and a microchip.   Also, all of her little kittens will need their vaccines and spay/neuters before they can go to their forever homes.

As a rescue sanctuary, we rely on the gifts of people like you to keep us going.  We made a commitment to Gypsy and promised to love and care for her for the rest of her life.  Please help us make this possible.   We also need your help to make sure her babies are healthy and able to find their forever families. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
